Detonation / Flame Arrestor Testing

Testing 24" diameter detonation arrestor for fast burning ethylene/air mixture -- 1000' of piping.

Shows detonation arrestor and smoke from super sonic ethylene/air flashback in  the 24" diameter / 1000' of piping.

White trailer has oscillographs for flame speed and pressure measurements in the 24" pipe.  High speed video cameras were also used but they are not shown here.
